Shank Farm

Because of the way Alan and Mary Shank care for their horses and farm, their neighbors are extremely supportive of the Shanks’ right to have horses in downtown Mukilteo.	This 2 horse farm has 2 acres of pasture, paddocks compost bins, and a riding arena.	The Shanks compost all the manure produced by their horses and reapply it to pastures to help them become more productive.	Alan and his horse, Dandy.
