The Benjamins

5/8" minus crushed rock for high traffic areas

Loving my mud-free sacrifice area.

Both horses get along great in one 50' x 50' sacrifice area.

Cedar strips used as a “topping” for the footing in the sacrifice area

This is the first of two acres we cleared of blackberries in he summer of 2003.

Same field two years later. Until the HCW classes, I didn’t know I should “mow to grow.” I think the pasture will be much more lush in years to come.

You can see our prototype bin cover. It was assembled in the barn and flexed into the bin. Flat, it forms an 8' x 24' rectangle with ribs every two feet and a center backbone.
