A New Job!

Alayne Blickle

I'd like to share something new I've taken on that I hope will benefit both you and Horses for Clean Water; I recently accepted a position as a regular contributing writer for The Horse magazine. I am very excited about this association as this is a reputable and prestigious publication with a lot of great resource and educational material for horse owners.

I will, of course, continue my Horses for Clean Water work, and will incorporate what I do into my work for The Horse. I'm looking forward to sharing research articles and other materials from The Horse that I think might interest you, or that could help with your horse management endeavors.

The Horse: Your Guide to Equine Health Care, is an all-breed, all-discipline equine education publication for participants in the horse industry who prefer to be "hands-on." The Horse disseminates the latest, most reliable news and information on health, care, management and welfare of equids - all things I am super interested in and bet you are too!

In addition, TheHorse.com(the web version of The Horse), offers daily equine health news and a variety of multi-media offerings such as slide shows, pod casts, Ask The Vet Live, and in addition, offers blogs on a variety of topics, including mine: Smart Horse Keeping. If you have a horse with a health issue (and who of us horse owners doesn't at one time or another?) you can search through thousands of articles on hundreds of topics at TheHorse.com, or just stay on top of equine health, care, management, welfare and industry news by visiting the website or by signing up for their newsletter.
